The purpose of this Site is to provide a simple, convenient and cost-effective service to hungry consumers, linking them to restaurants in their area that offer takeaway food. Interactive menus allow customers to build and submit orders at the click of a button.
By joining, customers can view their order history, rate past orders and earn discounts.
Access to our Site can be restricted, removed, blocked or otherwise prevented at our sole discretion and without prior notice to You.
We expect good standard of food from our Fast Food Restaurants, however, Groci (UK) is not responsible for the preparation, handling or cooking of food and this remains the sole responsibility of the Fast Food Restaurants. Groci(UK) is not liable for the quality of food or other goods, the portion size, or any complaint arising out of the perceived status of the food or other goods including any alleged cases of food poisoning. If you believe there has been a case of food poisoning, this should be reported to the Food Standards Agency (FSA) for investigation.

We regret that Groci(UK) accepts no liability for, and is unable to offer refunds or compensation, based on the standard of the food, including in cases of alleged food poisoning. However, a refund may be processed on behalf of the Fast Food Restaurant where the payment was made through our Site if the FSA determines that a case of food poisoning has occurred.
1. Placing an Order
Groci (UK) endeavours to deal with reputable third parties who provide a quality service, however Groci (UK) accepts no responsibility or liability for the quality or quantity of any goods delivered by or collected from said third parties. It is the responsibility of the customer to thoroughly check the supplied goods before agreeing to pay for an order.
All questions regarding goods shown on this Site should be directed to the Fast Food Restaurant. You can use the phone button in our App to contact the Fast Food Restaurant directly.
After you submit an order to us, we will give ask the Fast Food Restaurant to accept your order and tell you what the time of delivery / pick up would be. Once you accept the offer of the Fast Food Restaurant and you have paid for your order an Order Number will be generated and together with the details of your order confirmed in an email.
We require a valid UK mobile phone number and a working email address from You as all communication regarding your order will be sent via email and SMS. You agree to take particular care when entering your phone number and email address and warrant that the information you supply is accurate. Incorrect personal details may lead to problems or delays in delivery. Neither Groci (UK) nor the Fast Food Restaurants are liable to refund or replace your order if we are unable to contact you.
Acceptance of your order will only occur when we send you an SMS (or Push Notification, for App users) confirming that the Merchant has received and accepted your order. Once the Merchant accepts your order this constitutes an agreement between you and the Merchant.
All food preparation and deliveries are the sole responsibility of the restaurant accepting the order. Please be aware that the restaurant will do everything they can to meet the delivery time estimated, however delivery times may be affected by factors beyond their control and therefore cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.
If You suffer from any allergies or intolerances, it is your sole responsibility to contact the Merchant to inform them when you are placing your order.
Members can track the progress of their orders by viewing their Order Status.
All deliveries are the sole responsibility of the Merchant that accepts Your order.
When the shop keeper accepts your order, you will receive a push notification with a state time of delivery. You will receive another push notification to inform you that your order has been picked up and is on its way for delivery. Most of our order are delivered with in a time frame between 20 and 45 minutes depending on the actual order. In case that your order is delayed you will receive a push notification stating reason and new delivery time.
All stated delivery (or collection) times are estimates only and are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Groci (UK) is unable to guarantee delivery (or collection) times, however We will inform you if there is an unexpected delay.
NeitherGroci (UK) nor the Merchant shall be held liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery (or collection.)
If the Merchant wholly fails to deliver Your order, you should contact the Merchant in the first instance to attempt to achieve a resolution. In the event You cannot resolve this directly with the Merchant, please get in touch with Us no later than 24 hours after the non-delivery so we can contact the Merchant to confirm the non-delivery prior to arranging a refund.
3. Price and Payment
All prices are subject to change and all goods are subject to availability.
All prices are inclusive of VAT and stated in Pounds (Sterling).
Groci (UK) expects the Fast Food Restaurants to provide accurate prices, delivery zones, delivery costs, trading hours and special offers, however, we are unable to guarantee the accuracy of this information as it is controlled by the Fast Food Restaurants. Groci (UK) Ltd accepts no liability for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses arising out of incorrectly stated information.
Groci have discretion to remove or alter special offers or discounts at any time without prior notice to You. Groci (UK) Ltd accepts no liability for any loss you suffer as a consequence of a Merchant removing or altering a special offer or discount and is unable to provide compensation.
Payment can be made through the Site using credit or debit card, PayPal.
Where you opt to pay by credit or debit card, you agree to allow Us to process the payment as an agent of the Fast Food Restaurants. Card charges or fees are calculated in accordance with the Merchant’s policy and will be displayed clearly in your order summary.
You have the right to cancel an order up to the point you have accepted the confirmed order and delivery time by the Merchant and been taken to our payment page. There is no cancellation possible after you have paid the order.
While every effort is made to ensure that accurate pricing and descriptions are maintained, we reserve the right to cancel any order that is based on inaccurate information.
Groci (UK) and our Fast Food Restaurants reserve the right to cancel any order before or after acceptance. In the event that We or a Fast Food Restaurant decide to cancel your order we will inform you by SMS (or Push Notification, for App users). If You were signed in to a member account at the time you place your order and you paid online, you may re-use the funds with any other Fast Food Restaurants on the Site. If you chose not to re-use the funds within the same day, if there are funds remaining after you re-ordered or if you were signed in as a guest, the funds will be refunded to you. Refunds can take between 3-5 working days, or longer, depending on your card issuer, bank or PayPal.
Any orders placed after your access to our Site has been restricted, will be automatically cancelled and refunded. Refunds can take between 3-5 working days, or longer, depending on your card issuer, bank or PayPal.
Once you receive your order, if you are unhappy with it for any reason you should contact the Fast Food Restaurant in the first instance to attempt to achieve a resolution. In the event that You cannot resolve the problem, please get in touch with us as soon as possible on the same date you place the order, so that we can contact the Fast Food Restaurant and attempt to achieve a resolution. Please keep the order so that it can be returned to the Fast Food Restaurants if required.
Neither Groci (UK) nor the Merchants are able to expedite the refund process beyond the timeframes stated above.
Exclusion of Right of withdrawal
You have no right to withdraw your food order towards the Merchant, if and when it concerns the delivery of goods, which
a) are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, or
b) are made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized.
Deviating agreements have not been made between you and the restaurants.

To the extent permitted by law, Groci (UK) provides this Site and content on an "as-is" and "as available" basis and we make no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding the content or availability of this Site, or that it will be timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Site or server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.
Subject to the previous paragraph, neither Groci (UK) nor Groci(UK) directors, officers, agents, employees or contractors shall have any liability for any direct, indirect, special or consequential losses or damages (including without limitation, damages for loss of business or loss of profits), arising in contract, tort or otherwise from the use or inability to use this Site.
We will make every effort to ensure all information displayed on Site and in our apps is accurate at all times however we are unable to guarantee all information is correct, up to date or complete
Data transmission over the internet is secure. We take steps to ensure security however you agree that submission of your data is at your own risk.
Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limits liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our agents or employees.

Rates of discount may change without notice, and the offer may be withdrawn either from individual restaurants or from the whole of Groci (UK) without prior notice and with immediate effect. In such circumstances, all remaining discounts will be void and no compensation will be due.
The offer is available to Groci (UK) accounts only, and can only be claimed by ordering through Groci (UK). One special Discount may be used per order, and the offer is non-exchangeable. The Special Discount offer may not be combined with any other promotional rate offer. Additionally, the Special Discount offer may not be available with certain items on a restaurant's menu - typically, but not limited to the normal "specials offers" (also sometimes referred to as "meal deals") which can be ordered from some participating restaurants.
1. Loyalty Points
Customers of our Site have the opportunity to collect Loyalty Points when ordering from our Fast Food Restaurants.
Loyalty Points are earnt when an order is placed with a Fast Food Restaurant on the Site and the order is Accepted and filled by the given restaurant.
For each Pound Sterling you spend you will get 1 Loyalty point Once you have collected a total of minimum 500 points with a value of £ 5.00, You are able to redeem these Loyalty points of your next invoice or you can continue to save the point for a later date.
Rates of discount may change without notice, and the offer may be withdrawn either from individual restaurants or from the whole of the Site without prior notice and with immediate effect. In such circumstances, any discounts due and Loyalty points collected will be void, and neither the restaurants nor Groci (UK) may be held liable for any losses incurred as a result.
